Homemade Fruit Pies Workshop

In this exclusive, workshop, we'll arm you with everything you need to make delicious fruit pies for any season right in your own home. Discover how easy it is to make perfect, flaky pie dough. Then, learn to roll and cut pie dough, repair cracks and tears, prevent burnt edges and create elegant decorations such as fluted crusts and lattice tops. At the end of class, you'll take home your own nine-inch apple pie and an individual berry pie - plus two kinds of dough to make even more pies at home! SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES Making flaky butter pie dough by hand and by machine; tenderizing pie dough; rolling out and cutting pie pastry; lining a pie pan; making lattice-top pie crust; making a streusel crumb topping; baking pies to perfection.

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.)
