Dreamy and Creamy Pies Workshop
Gain the skills and master the methods for making outstanding meringue, cream and nut custard pies in your own home. At the end of class, you'll take home your own nine-inch pecan pie and an individual strawberry cream pie - plus dough to make even more pies at home! Limited to 10 students.
SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES Making flaky butter pie dough; tenderizing pie dough; rolling out and cutting pie pastry; lining a pie pan; making a crumb crust; baking pies to perfection; making and browning fluffy meringue.
Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.) Alcohol is not served at our Anchorage location.
