Cake Workshop

Cakes, more than any other dessert, evoke warm memories of birthday parties, holidays and other celebratory events. With a few basic techniques, tools and well-chosen ingredients, you can prepare the perfect cake for any occasion. In just one day, learn the art and craft of mixing, baking, assembling and frosting cakes.

SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES Preparing cakes using both the foam and butter method; making sponge cake and pastry cream; topping, filling, assembling and slicing a cake; melting chocolate; making and baking meringue; making and flavoring frostings.

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older.
