Cheese 101

Cheese is back in a big way. Interest in and production of world-class, artisanal cheeses are exploding in this country like never before. In our Cheese 101 class, you?ll learn all about the various types of cheese categorized by texture, milk type and flavor. Then, both through tasting and discussion, we?ll teach you all the basic principles for evaluating various premium cheeses and the accompaniments that pair best with them. We?ll also make fresh mozzarella and ricotta during class - and, if you haven?t tried fresh mozzarella while it?s still slightly warm in the center - you are in for a real treat!

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older.
