Global Barbecue Basics

After taking our new internationally-inspired workshop, you’ll be ready to gather your family and friends around the grill as you prepare the most beloved barbecue dishes from the world’s hottest barbecue spots. From Mexico to the Mediterranean, travel the globe exploring the wonderful world of “Q.”

SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES Preparing the grill; regulating heat; skewering and grilling shrimp to perfection; grilling vegetables; butterflying, marinating and grilling short ribs; jerking chicken; barbecuing low-and-slow; grill-roasting; testing barbecued/grilled foods for doneness.

Grilling classes may be conducted either indoors or outdoors, depending upon the weather and the individual teaching kitchen facility. All recipes are adaptable and user-friendly for indoor/outdoor cooking. Consult your local store for details.

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.)
