Turkish Meze

The crossroads of Europe and Asia, Turkey is a culturally fascinating country whose brilliant and eclectic cuisine is ranked among the top five countries in the world. Much like tapas in Spain, Turkish meze are small plates of fun, flavorful foods that are eaten along with wine or raki, the anise-flavored national drink of Turkey. So relax, forget all your worries and enjoy lively conversation with family and friends while spending an enchanted evening of eating and drinking - Turkish style.

SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES: Cooking with traditional Turkish ingredients; learning folding and rolling techniques for stuffed grape leaves;working with phyllo dough; creating a classic Turkish sweet pastry.

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.)
