In these chaotic marketplaces, hawkers holler, woks sizzle and clatter, and people line up for fresh, authentic, perfect little one-dish specialties. Considered to be high art, street food is the most explosively flavorful fare in all of Asia. After taking this class, you?ll be able to reproduce these uniquely delicious salads, skewers, noodles and dumplings in your own home.

SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES Working with Asian rice noodles; learning to balance sweet, sour, salty and spicy in perfect harmony; working with fresh herbs; peeling and deveining shrimp; grilling shrimp and testing for doneness; making an Indian spice paste; stuffing and shaping dumplings; preparing the most beloved dessert of Thailand.

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older.
