SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES: Learn how easy, rewarding and economical it is to cure your own beef in a salt and spice brine (10 days--we cure some ahead for the class) or learn how to transform store-bought corned beef into something very special indeed. Take home an easy and healthful Irish soda bread recipe made with whole wheat and oatmeal, make your own Guinness Mustard, learn a delicious take on mashed potatoes and kale (Colcannon Cakes), bake up some dark chocolate cupcakes with Guinness Stout Beer, and give your friends and family a laugh with Irish Coffee Jelly!
