Food For Life

Good health is a journey, not a destination. In our exciting new Food for Life class, we'll provide you with all the instruction and support needed to achieve healthy eating behaviors. Celebrate the beauty of a balanced diet complete with deliciously diverse colorful foods. Learn to make soups, salsas, seafood and side dishes - all bursting with fresh flavors and essential nutrients. Discover how it really is true - good food can be good for you.

SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES: Making a healthful soup; grilling fish and testing for doneness; making a fruit salsa; creating crusty cross-hatch grill marks; learning the classical pilaf method.

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.)
