Valentine's Date Night

Every February, loved ones exchange flowers, candy and other tokens of affection, all in the name of Saint Valentine. This year, instead of fighting for reservations at overbooked restaurants, stir up some romance in the kitchen preparing a delightful dinner with your special someone. Now that's amore!

SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES: Peeling, deveining and cooking shrimp to perfection; preparing compound butter; grilling beef and testing for doneness; making a classical sauce; creating cross-hatch grill marks; making, stuffing and cooking risotto balls; making and rolling out pie dough; baking fresh berry pies in jars.
