Viking Cooking School welcomes Chef Jeremy Enfinger of Ruth’s Chris Steak House as he presents an entertaining evening with his Goin’ Prime class. In a time where mediocrity is the acceptable standard a challenge is placed; a challenge to accept only the best. There are so many options and styles, recipes and claims to fame how do you choose? Students will explore the avenue of prime beef and other Ruth’s Chris best’s, as well as several of Chef Enfinger’s favorite summer recipes in a relaxed patio atmosphere. Come join us for a night of “Prime” conversation, food, and fun.
Starter App: “Sizzlin’ Blue Crab Cakes,” (ready for guests when they arrive with recipe for review.) Jumbo Lump crab meat lightly seasoned with a lemon butter.
Appetizer Course: “Summer Citrus.” An array of fresh sweet summer citrus tossed in a light cocktail served chilled. (contains alcohol)
Salad: “Ruth’s Chop Salad,” A Ruth’s Chris original. Julienne iceberg lettuce, baby spinach, and radicchio tossed with red onions and mushrooms, green olives, bacon, eggs, hearts of palm, croutons, bleu cheese and lemon basil dressing, topped with crispy fried onions.
Entrée and Sides: “Steak & Potatoes,” A 24oz USDA Prime T-Bone grilled to your desired doneness, finished with horseradish fingerling potatoes, and grilled tomato.
Dessert Course: “Blackberry Cobbler,” A southern summer classic served with Vanilla ice cream.
Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.)
