Dumplings abound in Asian cuisines, and these Spicy Pork Wontons are a delicious twist on classic pork dumplings with an added kick of spice. You can form the wontons ahead and refrigerate them on a parchment-lined baking sheet covered with plastic wrap. They also can be frozen on the baking sheet and stored in a zip-top plastic bag once they’re frozen. There’s no need to defrost them before boiling.
Combine the sesame sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Set aside.
Prepare the wontons. Combine pork, green onions, sriracha, soy sauce and brown sugar. Fold a bit of the mixture inside each wonton wrapper, pressing the edges together to make wontons. Boil the wontons for about 5 minutes, until they float. Drain the wontons, place them in a serving bowl and toss with the sesame sauce.
Makes about 2 dozen wontons.
