Beet Carrot Juice
- 8 Large Fresh Cleaned Carrots
- 1 Large Fresh Cleaned Beet
- 1 Fresh Cut Lemon Wedge
To kick off this extremely tasty raw juice recipe, you will first want to take out your juicer. Be sure that your juice machine is clean, especially if it has been stored away for a long period of time.
Next thoroughly wash and rinse eight orange carrots under cool running tap water.
Next wash and rinse your beet. Moving forward, you will now want to take out a sharp kitchen knife and quarter your produce so that it will fit into the juice machine.
You are now ready to place a jug under your juicer spout and begin feeding your carrot and beet pieces into the machine. As vegetable moisture content can vary, you may want to adjust your proportions accordingly.
Once your juice is done give the liquid a quick stir or two, just to be sure that the juice is evenly mixed. As an optional garnish add a lemon slice into your glass, or even a tablespoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice.
