- 8 ounces Ghirardelli semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Pinch salt
Place chopped chocolate in a medium mixing bowl and set aside. Combine cream, butter, and salt in a small saucepan; place over medium-high heat and bring to just below the boil. Pour the cream mixture over the chocolate and let sit, covered, for 5 minutes; whisk until completely smooth.
