Hearty Chili Supper
January means a chill in the air throughout most of the U.S., and there’s also a bit of a lull in most social calendars. Besides the Martin Luther King’s birthday, January is a nice, quiet month, making it the perfect time to invite friends over for a casual supper at home.
This month’s Hearty Chili Supper offers a crowd-pleasing menu with a little spice. Start your meal with Spicy Southwestern Chicken Wings, then move on to a Winter Salad with Persimmons, Dates, Spiced Pecans and Sherry Vinaigrette. Lamb and Black Bean Chili Mole is an untraditional chili with a hint of cocoa and it’s delicious accompanied by Lowfat Corn Muffins.
