Frozen Mocha Mousse Pie

A block of cream cheese, a can of sweetened condensed milk and some whipped cream. These three ingredients are the base of many delicious, quick and easy pies. Here, the combination is paired with chocolate syrup and espresso powder and folded into a chocolate cookie crust. It’s a pie that pleases children and adults alike. The combination also is the base for the Frozen Peanut Butter Pie and the Frozen Strawberry Margarita Pie recipes found on this site.
  • 1 8-ounce package reduced-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 14-ounce can regular, reduced-fat or fat free sweetened condensed milk
  • 2/3 cup chocolate syrup
  • 2 tablespoons instant espresso or instant coffee powder
  • 1 teaspoon hot water
  • 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 prepared chocolate cookie pie crust
  • Additional chocolate syrup, for garnish
Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add the condensed milk and chocolate syrup, mixing well.

Dissolve the coffee powder in the hot water and then add to the cream cheese mixture. Fold in the whipped cream and pour into the crust. Drizzle with additional chocolate syrup. Freeze.
