JOB PURPOSE: Produces finished products and components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

Reads and interprets engineering specifications and production orders to position parts and subassemblies; and to determine production methods and sequence of operations

Observes assembly operation to detect product/component defects and/or malfunctions; notifies supervisor when such defects are found

Packages, loads, and/or ships finished products or subassemblies

May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require

Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures and regulations; and by cleaning work area and equipment

Eliminates waste by following practices involved with the Lean Manufacturing Process

• Oversees and manages all kitchen operations for Giardina’s and The Alluvian
    • Represents Viking Range, The Alluvian Hotel, and Giardina’s Restaurant at public events, culinary events and other special events as determined by Management
    • Regularly interacts with guests and customers
    • Develops menus for Giardina’s and Alluvian special events, ensuring quality, presentation, taste and meeting standards set forth by Management
    • Serves as Manager on Duty for restaurant when restaurant GM is off property
    • Responsible for completing budget with management and adhering to the budget throughout the fiscal year
    • Orders food and oversees check-in process
    • Maintains food cost within agreed margins

    • Insures that all recipes are followed and maintained

JOB PURPOSE:  To assist in providing exceptional customer service to the patrons of  Giardina’s Restaurant



· Greet all restaurant patrons as they enter the establishment

· Show guests to their tables, providing menus and wine lists

· Explain any special promotions to guests

· Answer all phone calls and return calls as needed

· Confirm all phone reservations

· Ensure cleanliness of front lobby

· Handle ‘to go” orders and room service orders

· Assist with assigning wait staff to specific tables, ensuring they know any special requests or information regarding the guests they will be serving (celebrating birthday, etc.)

To insure the guest rooms and all public areas are cleaned and maintained to Alluvian standards.

Main Duties:

· Maintain and clean assigned guest rooms each day in a timely manner. This includes stocking the rooms with proper linen, amenities and printed material.

· Report any broken or non-working items to Director of Housekeeping and maintenance departments before completing rooms.

· Work together with other housekeepers when needed to finish job assignments.

· Promote positive guest relations.

· Accommodate requests from guests for any information needed to make their stay as perfect as possible.

· Dress only in hotel assigned uniforms.

· Set up housekeeping carts each morning before entering the hotel guest area. Clean carts at the end of shift.

Position Description:
The Maintenance Mechanic maintains production capabilities by ensuring proper maintenance and condition of equipment and facilities.


• Maintains proper condition of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance while following diagrams, manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and/or engineering specifications.
• Locates sources of problems in machinery and mechanical equipment by observing operation, examining components, using testing instruments and tools, and/or troubleshooting malfunctions.

• Inspects parts to determine dimensional changes by using measuring instruments.

Position Description:  The Manufacturing Engineer will evaluate the entire manufacturing system in a continuous effort to improve by analyzing current processes, systems, and product designs for elimination of waste and to recommend potential areas for improvement.

• Improve labor utilization by auditing the current standard against the planned standard and recommend areas for potential improvement; then update the standard to reflect this improvement.
• Prepare work standards and operator guidelines by writing or updating policies, procedures, and work methods.

JOB PURPOSE: Distributes and moves materials by following material movement procedures

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for performing root-cause analysis diagnoses, as well as repairing and implementing permanent solutions to equipment failures. Ensure that all work performed is in compliance with local and national electrical codes. This individual will also be able to modify, troubleshoot, and design logic and programming of Allen Bradley PLC controllers.

REPORTS TO:      Director of Facilities



1. Install, troubleshoot and maintain electronic equipment and PLCs on all manufacturing equipment such as presses, lasers, punch machines, drive units, etc.

2. Maintain, program, troubleshoot and repair Allen Bradley and other PLC systems.

3. Create and maintain preventive maintenance programs on all production equipment controls and PLCs at all facilities.

4. Perform root-cause analysis to diagnose, repair and implement permanent solutions to equipment failures.

5. Install, troubleshoot and program robotics equipment.

6. Build and maintain test equipment such as hypot testers, dispenser door component testers, lamp testers, fan testers, etc.

7. Perform and direct set-up and adjustments of equipment to ensure conformance to specifications.

8. Perform and record calibration results on test equipment such as hypots, leak testers, ovens, furnaces, etc.

9. Maintain backup software for PLC systems, and oversee updates on production-related software at all facilities.
