Greenwood, Mississippi-based Viking Range has debuted a new line of cooktops that offers innovative technologies and sleek design that coordinates with the company’s Professional series of products.

Designed to fit almost any existing cutout, the Professional gas cooktops feature sealed burners with brass burner rings; an 18,000-BTU burner for high heat sautéing, rapid boiling and quick recovery; and a SureSpark ignition system for automatic ignition/re-ignition should the flame extinguish at any time while cooking.
The Professional electric cooktops offer surface elements that reach full power in three seconds, a triple element to accommodate a variety of cookware sizes and a bridge element to create one continuous cooking surface. Able to accommodate up to 10 cooking zones (including a 12-in. 3,200-watt triple element), the cooktop also features an infrared energy transfer that provides fast cooking with any type of cookware.
