Viking Receives an Award from the Mississippi Energy Coordinators Association Viking received the Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Project Award from the Mississippi Energy Coordinators Association for their lighting project. The project consisted of removing 662 -4 bulb T-5 fluorescent fixtures on the production floor and replacing them with 150 watts LED high bay fixtures. This increased the number of lumens in the production from 25-foot candles to 50-foot candles. The project also consisted of replacing or converting another 700 fluorescent or incandescent fixtures to LED in the office and non-production areas of the plant.
