Wash apples and cut them into wedges. Place the wedges in the extractor, collecting juice in the container with the vitamin C powder. You should have approximately 3 cups of extracted juice. Skim any foam from the surface of the juice. Stir in the cooled sugar syrup, then chill the mixture. Place the chilled juice mixture in the bowl of an ice-cream machine, and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions. Store, tightly covered, in the freezer.
