Garlic Cheese Grits
- 1 cup grits, uncooked
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 Tbs. salt
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 1 roll Kraft garlic cheese, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- Healthy pinch cayenne pepper
- Paprika for top of grits
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Add grits to boiling, salted water. Cook 5 to 7 minutes until thickened. When cooked, add butter, garlic cheese, cheddar cheese, cayenne, and Worcestershire sauce. Put in greased casserole and sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 15-20 minutes in 350 degree F oven.
Serves 8 to 10 persons. |
