				Viking was recently featured in a Food Network Magazine article entitled "What Is a Steam Oven?." Food Network consulted with Eddie Casanave, owner of Distinctive Kitchen & Appliance World, to answer some questions about steam ovens, how they work, the types of steam ovens, and their benefits. A steam oven is an oven that uses hot steam to cook food instead of hot air. Food Network says the benefit of using a steam oven is that it produces "healthier, more nutritious food. Steam does a better job of preserving foods’ vitamins and minerals, and because it creates a moist cooking environment." Viking was specifically mentioned when Casanave says, "I use my Viking combination steam oven for a variety of things, but my go-to recipes include steam-grilled fish and pork chops, along with veggies like cauliflower, asparagus, and broccoli."
