Yabin Yu was born in Beijing, China. Cooking has been her lifelong passion. Her culinary philosophy and approach are signified by her simple, healthy, and delicious ethnic-fusion cuisine. She is the author of "The Bear and Fish Family Cookbook" that was featured in the Flavor Section of the Houston Chronicle in September, 2009. Yabin’s book contains a collection of more than 130 of her family favorite recipes ranging from classic Chinese regional cuisines to modern fusion innovations.
