Culinary Institute of America Boot Camp
The Viking Cooking School Salt Lake City is proud to host Chef Dave Bruno of the Culinary Institute of America for an unforgettable 5 days for a World Cuisine Boot Camp. You will embark on an exciting exploration of flavors, ingredients, and dishes from around the globe, from the Old World and the Mediterranean to Asia and the Americas. On the final day, you will revisit each of these regions, this time focusing on flavorful street foods-one of today's hottest trends. This is an exclusive culinary program hosted at the well-appointed Viking Cooking School at Kimball Distributing. CIA chef Dave Bruno will introduce you to the cooking methods, exotic ingredients, flavor profiles, and special equipment used in the preparation of various cuisine. Then it's off to the kitchens, where you will prepare a variety of dishes highlighting unique global flavors. As a Boot Camp participant, you will receive two chef's uniforms, each with a jacket, pants, and a neckerchief. Paper chef's hats, side towels, and aprons will be provided in class.
