Cupcakes that take the Cake!
What could be better, cupcakes with champagne baked in!! Cupcakes are Hot-Hot right now. Come learn how to bake and decorate with Pastry Chef Katy Monti, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Grey Stone. Katy has just moved to Salt Lake City from Seal Beach Ca., and has joined the Viking Cooking School where she will have a roster of classes including, Learn to Bake, as well as Bread Baking and Cake Decorating.
The inspiration Katy took from the CIA, as well as from the local restaurants and wineries of Napa, has been very influential to her ultimate culinary path. Upon returning to Los Angeles, Katy worked in the pastry kitchens of several notable eateries. She also developed a line of Artisan Chocolate, where her work gained local and national press recognition for excellence.
Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older.
