Basic Kitchen Skills
In this class we will cover all the basic skills you need to know to be more efficient when cooking in your home kitchen. Skills include knife skills, measuring ingredients, reading recipes, using the proper equipment, organization and sanitation. You will receive specific instruction on how to use these skills to achieve professional results in your very own kitchen. If you could use a little help with making cooking more enjoyable and less daunting, this is the class for you.
Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.)
Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions.
