Dining at Downton Abbey

Thanks to the release of The Unofficial Downton Abbey Cookbook, Salt Lake City's premier cooking school invites you to partake in a two-day cooking extravaganza celebrating Downton Abbey, the PBS hit series' glorious cuisine. Day one, participants will be whisked, literally, into the rich opulence of the Crawley's upstairs culinary lives followed by a second day of preparing the more rustic provisions of Mrs. Patmore and the downstairs staff. Each day will focus on the hands-on preparation of multiple course meals based on the show's classic recipes straight from the cookbook's pages. DAY ONE: SAMPLE RECIPE: Stuffed Mushrooms, Cream of Asparagus Soup, Guard of Honor Lamb with Mint Sauce, Potatoes Lyonnaise, Christmas Pudding
DAY TWO: Toad in the Hole, Colcannon, Mushy Peas, Tipsy Cake (non-alcoholic version available)
