Advanced Viking Classics V: Fish and Shellfish Cookery
Seafood is an important part of a healthy and balanced diet. In fact, The American Heart Association recommends eating fish at least two times a week. But are you intimidated at the thought of cooking seafood at home? Well, don't let your fears get the better of you. After taking our fish and shellfish cookery class, you'll understand all the tools, tips and techniques needed to conquer your fear of fish and shellfish forever. Learn how to select the freshest seafood, how to test for doneness, and the proper cooking techniques for various types and textures of seafood. From grilling and searing to steaming and saut¿ing, you'll be cooking fish and shellfish like a pro in no time.
Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.)
