    Expanded Dishwasher Recall

    In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, Viking is voluntarily expanding a previously announced recall of Viking 24" wide dishwashers to include certain Model 200, Model 325, and Model 450 dishwashers manufactured before April 1, 2011.     In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Viking is recalling certain 42-Inch and 48-Inch Built-In Side-by-Side Dispensing Refrigerator Freezers manufactured between October 17, 2012 and May 29, 2013.  Our records indicate that you may have previously purchased a Viking Range Corporation 42-Inch or 48-Inch Built-In Side-by-Side Dispensing Refrigerator Freezer manufactured during this timeframe.  Viking will repair all affected refrigerators free of charge in your home.     Expanded Refrigerator/Freezer Recall

    Viking is voluntarily recalling certain Built-In 36-Inch Bottom Mount Freezer Refrigerators manufactured between November 1, 2005 and August 10, 2012. The voluntary recall is being implemented as a result of the potential for the weld securing the pin to the pivot plate on the door to break, causing the door to detach from the refrigerator and creating a risk of impact injury or fall.     Viking recalling certain Model 325 and Model 450 Viking 24" Dishwashers manufactured between May 26, 2010 and September 15, 2010. The voluntary recall is being implemented as a result of the potential for fire. An electrical connector to the dishwasher heater may fail resulting in overheating and creating a risk of fire.     Viking is recalling certain Viking Built-In 48-Inch wide Side-by-Side Refrigerator/ Freezers manufactured before March 1, 2005, and certain Built-In 36-Inch wide Bottom Mount Freezer Refrigerators manufactured before April 10, 2006. Screws attaching the pivot plate of the top hinge on the door may shear causing the door to detach from the hinge pivot plate and creating a risk of impact injury or fall. No 42-Inch wide or Freestanding refrigerators are involved in the recall. Learn more

    Toaster Recall

    Announced: January 06, 2009
    Viking is recalling its VT 400 4-Slot Viking Professional Toasters and is advising consumers to discontinue use of the product. Wiring inside the toaster can become loose and contact the toaster body posing a shock hazard to consumers. No personal property damage has been reported, but Viking has received five reports that consumers have experienced minor electric shock when touching the outside of the toaster. If you own one of these toasters, you should stop using the toaster immediately and unplug it, even if it has been used without incident. Viking will replace any VT 400 4-Slot Toaster with a new "In the Viking Kitchen" cookbook, or similar item, at no charge to you. Learn more
