In this fish-focused grilling workshop, you’ll learn just how easy it is to produce moist, flavorful fish in a matter of minutes. It’s the perfect choice for any week-night dinner - or for serving at a casual dinner party. After mastering the basic techniques, we will sit down to enjoy your grilled fish dishes served with a variety of light, refreshing sauces. (Note: Fish for this class will be selected based upon freshness and seasonality.) Wine is available for purchase at Ninety Acres classes. Unless specified as a food and wine pairing, wine is not included in classes at Natirar.
SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES Using three easy tests for determining the freshness of fish; selecting fresh fish; storing fish; preparing the grill; creating crusty grill marks; turning fish without tearing; determining doneness.
Grilling classes may be conducted either indoors or outdoors, depending upon the weather and the individual teaching kitchen facility. All recipes are adaptable and user-friendly for indoor/outdoor cooking. Consult your local store for details.
Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.)
