Chinese Dinner Party

The Chinese enjoy a highly sophisticated food culture; eating is an art, and everything revolves around the meal. "Have you eaten already?" is a common Chinese greeting. Many consider this ancient, yet ever-evolving, cuisine the finest, most inventive in the world. In America, Chinese food is second only to Italian as the most popular ethnic cuisine. Discover the exotic ingredients and unique cooking techniques that make this healthful, flavorful fare all the rage around the world.

SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES Balancing sweet, sour, salty and spicy flavors; making traditional Chinese soup; velveting chicken; stir-frying/wok cooking; preparing whole fish.

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.) Alcohol is not served at our Anchorage location.
