Superfoods Wine Dinner

For many people, drinking wine in moderation leads to better health and a longer life. It may seem too good to be true, but it's been proven over and over again in countless tests around the world. Drinking wine along with superfoods such as salmon, beans, nuts and greens gives you a heaping helping of essential nutrients and power-packed antioxidants. In this groundbreaking workshop, we'll teach you how to cook, eat and drink your way to a healthier you. At the end of class, we'll sit down to enjoy our four-course meal paired with the perfect wines to complement each dish. Cheers!

SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES Cooking with antioxidant and nutrient-rich foods; learning innovative evaluation techniques for pairing food and wine; making an Italian egg dish; working with avocados and jicama; making a vinaigrette; crusting fish with nuts; sauteing mushrooms; poaching pears; making a fruit-based sauce.

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.)
