Chocolate Lovers' Workshop
Many of us have chronic cravings for chocolate. But why are we so crazy-in-love with this guilty pleasure? Is it the rich, velvety texture and multi-dimensional flavors? Yes, but researchers also say that chocolate triggers feel-good chemicals, affecting our body and mood in the most profound ways. Even the smell of chocolate relaxes the body and reduces stress, so it is no small wonder that it is the number one food craving in America. So join us in our special new class for chocoholics to create blissfully indulgent desserts you'll want to make over and over again at home.
SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES Learning about different types of chocolate; chopping and melting chocolate; making moist, dense brownies; making a decadent warm chocolate beverage; paring savory flavors with chocolate; making perfect cupcakes; making candy; making truffles.
Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.) Alcohol is not served at our Anchorage location.
