This informative, interactive six-week series is designed to advance your knowledge of wine as well as your passion for it. In the first class, learn wine-tasting terms and techniques you will use during the sessions that follow, each dedicated to different varietals of wine. At the end of the series, you will be able to recognize, talk about, purchase and enjoy wines from around the world. And don’t worry if you miss a class – you can make it up the next time it is offered. (Developed exclusively for Viking Cooking Schools by Karen MacNeil, author of the award-winning classic “The Wine Bible.” Participants must be 21 years of age or older.)

Included in the purchase of the entire 6-week series is a copy of The Wine Bible and a Wine Aroma Wheel (retail value $26.90). Useful take-home, printed information covering 17 different wine-related topics will also be provided. *In participating locations.

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.) Alcohol is not served at our Anchorage location.
