Baby Cakes

Tired of saying, "OK, just a bite..." or "Maybe just a sliver..."? Well, bye, bye mile-high pie. Welcome to the small dessert revolution. The National Restaurant Association's annual survey ranked mini desserts at number 4 in its What's Hot top 20 overall menu trends. In our novel, workshop devoted entirely to delightfully diminutive cakes, you can satisfy your sweet tooth without expanding your waistline. Because calories can't possibly count when you're eating something this cute!

SKILLS AND TECHINQUES Cutting out, glazing and decorating petit fours; using a piping bag; making and baking miniature cakes; cooking in canning jars; making frosting; baking in a water bath; making a coulis.

Adult classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. (Note: Students must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.) Alcohol is not served at our Anchorage location.
